- I live in my dream place with Husband, one beloved rescued cat and one beloved rescued dog, and the warm memories of many other treasured pets. I rarely sleep for more than four hours at a time and would happily nap/wake/nap/wake all day and night. I am undisciplined, a classic underachiever. I believe that inevitable tragedy is a fork in the road, offering lessons in emotional and spiritual growth. One of my coping skills is a quick and wicked wit and I often crack me up. I avoid people who talk neverendingly about nothing. I cannot bear unrelieved humorless negativity. I like people who are comfortable with silence. I like listening to people who learn from Life. I have received a few Blogger Awards, and while I find them momentarily gratifying, they're just too much like chain emails and I gratefully decline to receive any more of them.

It's above freezing tonight in Kentucky. The rumor is tomorrow it will be 40. Since it's been 11 every night this week, I'm feeling warm now. Snow is predicted for the week end. I hate winter.
So will I...under thermal long-johns, sweat pants, and several blankets.
Our high temperature today was 9 degrees.
Sorry you're dealing with lousey winter weather. It is supposed to get up to 80 degrees here on Saturday. Ridiculous temp for December! I don't think I'll EVER get used to this Arizona weather.
It's cold here too, but we have 40degrees to look forward to on Saturday!

Funny June.... That's what I said!!!! We're going to have a 'heat wave' today and tomorrow---before the weather turns cold and snowy again....
It's been quite a December so far --even down here in TN. BUT--even today and tomorrow, I don't think I'll put on my shorts... ha ha

I must recommend caution , my dear . Sunburn can be most uncomfortable and one's knees , unaccustomed to exposure in the winter months, are rather vulnerable .

Tee hee. It will seem like a heatwave. Supposed to go down to 8 degrees tonight here in Kansas. Couple that with a north wind and your get a -52 wind chill, right?
