Sunday Stills: Yellow

Sunday Stills' challenge this week is "yellow."
My peonies bloomed two days ago, and I thought they were all I'd be able to see, and they are most definitely not yellow.
But I did manage to happen upon some yellow...
It occurs to me that I'm glad this challenge didn't come when all there was to be seen outdoors was snow . . . or I might have had to take pictures of yellow snow...

More a suspicion of yellow than actual yellow...

Cucumbers-to-be...

A goldfinch blessing the garden...

Nice series! I envy the yellow flowers in your cucumbers-to-be. Our cucumber plants are just appearing out of the garden soil.

That is a perfect perch for the Goldfinch! I love Cucumbers - tell me you grow tomatoes, too. I may have to come for lunch in about a month.

Husband is the Vegetable Gardener. He nourishes our bodies; I nourish our souls with otherwise useless flowers. :-p He started those cucumber plants weeks ago and set them out on Memorial Day weekend.
Barb, yes, tomatoes too. And herbs for the picking at will. The parsley is mad already, having overwintered and sprouted up all by itself early, early.

I was trying so hard to get a goldfinch for this challenge. Good one for you!
