Saturday morning walk
It was drizzly and misty and dreary and I did not want to go out in the wet to walk. But my head felt foggy full-moony and stupid and I knew I needed some light and/or oxygen and/or warmth in my toes. On days like that it's quite often warmer outdoors than in, I find. So I steeled my will, fleeced myself up, and took the camera. I am neither a conscientious nor careful photographer, as you can see by the drops of rain on the lens . . . but the camera got me out to walk, and the colors are pretty in the clouds that sat in the tops of the trees.

They are beautiful fall shots, and I am GLAD you had a reason to get outside. The camera did it, and now you have shared your walk with me. Thanks! :-)
I have been having a hard time getting myself out the door for weeks now. I guess I better pick up my camera.
Thanks for inviting Vicki, and by the way, me as well, in her comments to see your pics. They are great!
That's a lovely path to walk, June. I enjoyed it almost as much as you did. Maybe more, since I stayed dry.
Thanks for this walk through a drizzly fall in your world. The colors are beautifully muted on the cloudy day - the best time to photograph I think. (PS I hope you wiped the lens!)
Nice walk. I especially like the evergreen picture.
Changing fast !
I've just seen some photos of Highland cattle and they're just that wonderful russet red , too . A very warming colour .
Perhaps we do live on the same road -- I could swear I recognize these...
Pretty. We don't have too much autumn colour here though there is one street I know of in the neighbourhood that got planted with maples (I think that's what they are) and that always looks good when the leaves turn.
Not much true autumn colour here June, so I'm awfully pleased you 'fleeced up' and got out there in the true spirit of 'blogger-ship' and got us those amazing photos (of which most have been framed very creatively I might add)
I went for my walk yesterday but the the thick fog is deterrent this morning. Far too dangerous - of course.
I wish I had a road like that to walk in my neighborhood!
Your photos were like a breath of fresh air themselves. Loved the views of your walk.
It was worth going out, you might have missed that tender light if you hadn't.
Nice photos. We've been getting the same drizzly weather -- but hopefully the leaves will soon make their dramatic entrance.
Oh, June -- what wonderful photos! Thanks for taking us along with you on your walk!
Gorgeous. If we ever get to America, my husband and I thought we would like to see New England in the fall. Is that the best place to see in Autumn?
Lovely, lovely, lovely. Worth going out, yes?
Beautiful photographs, wonderful autumn colours. I am greeting
These are wonderful photos - you have captured the beauty of autumn where you are..... I can smell the trees and the forest floor and the fungi.... Thank you
The colors of autumn is really beautiful! I love the way it lends vibrant reds and gold to the whole area. I hope you get more pictures throughout the season.
Love to walk.. Wife and I often walk to Rising Park yesterday a 11 year old fell off the cliff and is in serious condition.. Have to be careful out there
My kind of walk
