Click and watch the video!----->:Nature Imitates Andy Goldsworthy: Rare Ice Disk Forms in North Dakota River
I am uninformed enough to be completely unaware of Andy Goldsworthy . . . my friend probably knows him and all his works . . . but this natural phenomenon must exceed anything a human could produce. My first thoughts, when I saw the video and the pictures, were of high school geometry, and my teacher telling me that there was no such thing as a perfect circle.
Surprise.

How amazingly beautiful!
How cool is that! Nature is so fascinating.
I don't know who that is either. That is such a cool thing. Nature constantly surprises me - it shouldn't, but it does.
Hope you're well, happy, and warm!
Blessings,
Carolynn
Andy Goldsworthy is a British land artist, who works with natural materials, often found or gathered in their outdoor settings. Worth a look! But the ice disc shown here is even more lovely, and amazing too. Mother Nature is the most sublime artist of all.....
Nature just never, ever disappoints! An "amazing wonder" for sure!
Pretty amazing, and I didn't know who Andy Goldsworthy is, either. Now I know. So for me, a double reward. Thx!
Wow! How cool (unintentional pun) is that!
Google Andy Goldworthy -- he does some really terrific stuff.
I know of Andy Goldsworthy, they make something of him here in the UK, but I hadn’t seen this. Not a bad thing to post about.
Glad to see you are still around.
Just awesome!! I've never heard of Andy Goldsworthy...maybe I do live under a rock.
