Sunday Stills: Happiness

What makes me happy? Sunsets.
Each one different, each one's breathtaking beauty growing, by the minute, by the second, beyond expectation. Each evening is like Christmas morning in reverse, the day wrapping up in ever-brightening packaging.

...then peacefully fading away slowly, slowly, to mauve and gray and indigo.

You found some real beauties! I rarely see much sunset as I am usually in the barn, but I love them when I do

I love the photos. Wish I could get something like that. The Shoot-out this week is silhouettes and I think the second would be perfect.

beautiful colours.
I am 'fortunate' to be up to see the sunrise and can view the sunset from my west facing livingroom.

The real beauty of these three pictures is that they were all of the same sunset, at different stages...all within half an hour.
Far better than a man-made fireworks show!
