Early to rise

Waking up earlier than necessary is so much more rewarding
on spring and summer mornings.

Part of the wraparound sunrise.

Angus and Max checking out the overnight news
while I sat on the front porch with my coffee.

I love the early morning hours this time of year. Like a little foretaste of Heavan

If you take care of the early mornings, I've got the late nights covered. I'll sleep in, content that you're on duty!

I'll go with Nana I'm afraid. Early mornings are for the birds.
To see that sunrise you must have been up VERY early.

Wow, I'm so relaxed after looking at your pictures and reading your post. :) Thank you June! It smelled so good and so fresh here this morning. Hope you're doing well. Enjoy the weekend.

Such glorious dawns are reserved for people with pure hearts...I'm glad you got to enjoy it, June!

Such a sunrise would surely make me smile all morning.

Beautiful skies! I've been waking up earlier and earlier -- 5:30 this morning.

I've photographed far more sunsets than rises. Neither of them ever grow tired. Beautiful shots, June.

I love pictures of the sky. Nature all dramatic. Much better than brown and green, brown and green, brown and green.

threecollie, indeed it is a bit of Heaven!

Bossy Betty and #1Nana, if I had my choice I would get up at 4am every day and go back to bed at 10!

Friko, I believe that was a 5am awakening.

MB, so glad you liked them!

Barb. Oh yeah, that's me. Pure of heart. Deed, maybe not so much. :-P

VioletSky, I certainly felt different having spent some time staring at that sky than if I had missed it! Having had to go off to work, I don't think I smiled all morning.

Vicki Lane, me too! This morning, 4:30, with some help from the yappy small dogs.

Hilary, I have zillions of pictures of sunsets. Y'getta lotta time to get sunsets. Sunrises are there and changing and gone in minutes!

Fran, sky pictures fascinate me. The colors, the changes second-to-second...the COLORS!
