This afternoon, Little B and I are going to see . . .
It's a gorgeous sunny (although windy, cool) day today and I don't much feel like driving into civilization to be among my fellow humans, but if the show is one tenth as great as everyone says it is, I'll be glad to have done it!
I have to say . . . when I look at the nice cushy soft jawlines in these photos . . . it makes me feel . . . relief? happiness?
Normal?

Normal. I know what you mean. I think part of getting older for a woman is a sense that we've lost our sexual attractiveness becoming invisible, and so we begin to feel more comfortable with women our own age.
Enjoy, even tho' it means maybe brushing against other humans. I would jump at the chance to see the musical--now. I don't think I would have been open to a musical about it at the time. Would have been hard to concentrate what with having to run out of the room to douse burning up self with cold water at any given moment.
Oh, yeah...notice how I managed to cut off my chin in my picture?
Menopause. . . let me think, o yes, it was that time when I got all hot and bothered.
And people are making a song and dance about it?
Let me how it went.
I can't wait to hear what you think of it. If it is half as good as they're saying, you're in for a treat! :-)
Menopause ?
Do you mean that five year spell of hot flushes ... or "the perfectly natural closure of my fertility" that my ( male ) doctor said I was going through ?
To give him his due he did try , recommending homeopathic drops , the price of which brought on another hot flush .
Wish I were there... Menopause, the Musical is akin to the Vagina Chronicles. Have they done anything with men and penis's? Oh... I forgot... wasn't it "Much Ado About Nothing?"
Advice I received from a Doctor while I was going through menopause - "tell your husband to be patient dear, you are not as accommodating as you used to be." Seriously, that's the best you've got doc! If I could choose just one decade for male doctors to be female it would be our 50's.
Memopause (the musical) is hilarious - hope you enjoy!
I can't wait to hear what you think. I have heard it is wonderful and funny and right on...let us know!
I saw the musical several years ago with friends. That was the last time I laughed until I cried. Enjoy!
A belated BOL. I understand soft cushy jawlines. And, up that with turkey neck.
