No matter how much fun you have today, your Wednesday won't hold a candle to mine!

I know I'll be enjoying my Wednesday!
Today is Colonoscopy Day!

Red heart shaped border with little heartsRed heart shaped border with little hearts
We love our little colon;
We've made it squeaky clean.
No fear how far the scope will go,
All will be peachy keen.
I've eaten nothing that I shoul'n't:
No skins, no nut, no bean.

Send up the tiny colon cam!
I'm ready as can be!
And on the way back home, madame,
For th'love of God, please feed me!

I bet my Tuesday was better than your's also. I didn't have to drink 5 gallons of colon cleanout and I was free to roam far from a bathroom!

Good luck tomorrow!

Oh that's too funny. Wishing you a not too uncomfy time and that everything turns out all right in the end. ;)

The worst - Tuesday - is over. The procedure is a piece of cake. No, wait. The piece of cake is AFTER the procedure.

No , you're quite right . But then , no one will be holding a candle ... or mini-cam anywhere near mine !
Good Luck ! I hope your recovery is speedy and the celebration sandwich afterwards , truly delicious .

I have been through this and survived. The lovely nurses were ready with tea and biscuits immediately afterwards (they fetched a banana especially for me as I am coeliac). Hope yours are as sweet.

Goodness gracious, my thoughts are with you, good luck!

This is hilarious! That you've managed to maintain your sense of humor despite your colon's rumblings . . inspirational.

Time to schedule mine . :(

Good luck!

Cute jingle! It should be printed on the bottle of yucky stuff one has to drink...would help it go down!

Smiles to you, June!

Ha Ha! Funny and clever little poem. A colon cancer survivor, I've had many colonoscopies and the worst part is the prep, since the actual procedure is done while you are drugged with some very pleasant drugs. And then you get to EAT! Good luck.

Fine example of making lemonade from lemons. Hope you had an early morning time and got the "all clear."

Very poetic! And thank goodness that 'adventure' is over. ATB!

OMG you are a hoot. All kidding aside, I know you have studied hard, finished all your homework, and should pass the test. Good luck.

allowing for the time difference it might all be over by now and you might have fallen on a great big fat bowl of . . . . ? chili, muesli, burgers ?

best of luck.

My, you make it sound almost fun. Almost. That's quite a jaunty little ditty. Did you sing it to your camera operator?

As a nursing student who has just learned all the ins and out of the colon (pardon the pun!) I LOVE this post!
Fantastic!

Girls just gotta have fun!

No, I know it isn't fun -- but what a lifesaver it can be! One of the good things about the modern day.
