A Woman's Poem

I've been among the missing for a while, mostly due to a lack of thought worthy of expression.
Fortunately, someone emailed the following to me, and it suits my mood, so I'm sharing it with you.
Husband is not like the "he" in the poem.
Anymore.

When my husband first said things like that I asked him if he thought his Mother would come over and cook for us.

Unfortunately my MIL could cook three star meals , made wonderful kites for little boys and had travelled the length of Africa in a Land Rover .
If Husband had ever started to compare us , I have a feeling that a slap or two wouldn't have worked !
