Monday, 8:26am

It's winter.
It's Monday morning.
The sky is white.
The snow is falling sideways, but won't land copiously enough to make travel difficult.
I have a meeting at 5:30, too soon after end-of-work-time to come home, and too long after end-of-work-time to stay there.
I'm on the wrong side of a big bump in the road.
I know I'll get past the obstacle, but first I have to get on my feet and out the door.
Sometimes inspiration is not enough.
Sometimes it's just blind determination that keeps a person going.

We are in some serious snow here in western NC and I am so thankful I don't have to go anywhere.

Be safe!

Amen to the blind determination. Still digging out here from over 2 feet of snow and then off to all my meetings for the day. Hope your day goes well.

Bless your heart, June! Perhaps you'll get lucky and the meeting will get postponed. Meetings are so often just a waste of time and are only good for making the powers that be look good--at everyone else's expense.

Deep breaths my dear and just make the best of the situation. That's all we can ever do when those times are given to us; patience~

In the meantime, take a good book with you and know THIS TOO SHALL PASS!!!

Determination will see you through, June. Clear your mind and breathe! Alternatively, have a strong cup of coffee.
