I had a dream that I met the Obamas at my office.
They were seated in theater seats watching some performance while I stood next to them running a postage meter.
Michelle was beautiful and I stared at her. She smiled back, friendly. I leaned over and whispered, "Can I ask you a question?"
"Sure," she said.
"How many pairs of false eyelashes are you wearing?"
She burst into guffaws. "Twelve!!!!"

So happy you woke up remembering this one - a classic, to be sure. I love having "famous people" dreams. I used to have a recurring dream about going hang-gliding with Tom Brokaw.
Luckily they were false. Being dreamed about with all those and them being real would be unsettling.
That's funny and I think any political persuasion could run with it and find some "meaning."
What a fun one though!
I had a nightmare the other night. I dreamt the Republican debators had entered my dream. Dianne
Twelve! --Loved it--

That was an answer to today's Cryptogram Corner puzzle
12, huh? As in 12 months of the year. As in the 12 apostles. Hmmmm. But I don't get the postage meter. Well ... "sometimes dreams mean absolutely nothing." But this was an interesting one!
Silly woman, dreaming and remembering the dream. Now, what could it possibly mean? Eye lashes, let me see . . . . .
I just caught up on your 'meeting other bloggers' post. Don't you dare come anywhere near me; why do you think i blog? So's I don't have to meet real people, of course.
Just caught up on the mixed post too. Ok, you can come over at night, if you can't sleep; I'll tell you a story.
Oh how funny. You have the greatest dreams.
My favorite dream was being married to two thirds of The Dixie Chicks at the same time, while living platonically with the third. One big unhappy hen house in Lubbock Texas, USofA Planet m-Earth.
Dreams are free entertainment. Thanks for sharing your amusing tale.
I am actually fed up with dreams. I have been in contact with an Israeli 'girl' I knew 37 years ago (Facebook!) and all it has done is revive nightmares about the man I was with then who broke my heart.
I tend to forget mine, though I often am left with the emotion they provoke. Funny how they are usually negative rather than happy. Yours is very funny.
